Muscles Targeted:
Concentration Curls target the biceps and are great to emphasize the long head of the muscle.
Form:
Start with your elbow on your thigh close to your knee, curl the weight up toward your chest and focus on squeezing the bicep.
Control the weight down during the negative and get a good stretch but be careful not to hyperextend the elbow.
Rep Ranges:
Perform this exercise in moderate to high rep ranges, going too heavy will likely sacrifice control so using a preacher bench would be a better option.
