DB Concentration Curls

Muscles Targeted:

  • Concentration Curls target the biceps and are great to emphasize the long head of the muscle.

Form:

  • Start with your elbow on your thigh close to your knee, curl the weight up toward your chest and focus on squeezing the bicep.

  • Control the weight down during the negative and get a good stretch but be careful not to hyperextend the elbow.

Rep Ranges:

  • Perform this exercise in moderate to high rep ranges, going too heavy will likely sacrifice control so using a preacher bench would be a better option.
