DB Squats

Muscles Targeted:

  • Squats and it’s variations are compound movements but they primarily target the quads.

  • The box squat assists you at the bottom of the movement making it easier on your hamstrings, glutes, and lower back.

Form:

  • This is a great exercise that can be used to improve depth and overall technique on other free weight squat variations.

Rep Ranges:

  • Perform this exercise in any rep range, on its own, in a superset, or in a circuit.
