Muscles Targeted:
Squats and it’s variations are compound movements but they primarily target the quads.
The box squat assists you at the bottom of the movement making it easier on your hamstrings, glutes, and lower back.
Form:
This is a great exercise that can be used to improve depth and overall technique on other free weight squat variations.
Rep Ranges:
Perform this exercise in any rep range, on its own, in a superset, or in a circuit.
