Leg Extensions
Muscles Targeted:
This exercise isolates the quads.
Form:
Sit in the seat and adjust the backrest so that your back stays upright and flat.
Pull yourself down and align your knee over the end of the seat. On most machines there is a bolt or dot you can use for reference.
Extend your legs and contract your quads at the top of the movement.
Keep a constant pace throughout the entire set.
Rep Ranges:
This exercise can be performed in any rep range as well as in supersets, circuits, or as a quad finisher.
